Windows 10: Windows 10 Desktop Icons Awkwardly Spaced

Recently, my computer got stuck in an automatic repair loop and had to be fixed. After receiving my computer back, I had to reinstall everything and re-install all my data. In this process, I noticed that my desktop icons are rather... awkwardly spaced apart and I cannot seem to fix it. Attached is a screenshot from Google of what the desktop icons should typically look like and then my awkwardly spaced ones. I have already attempted the view > change icon size trick as well as the ctrl + scroll wheel trick and never have fixed this issue. This has never been an issue in the past and wasn't even an issue earlier. I would really like this fixed as I view my desktop screen often and this easily gets on my nerves considering the number of icons I typically have.

Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the blank space on desktop.
• Click on View.
• Uncheck Align icons to grid.
