Windows 10: Windows 10 desktop keeps flashing between empty desktop and icons "file system error...

Hi,I have an Asus Vivobook Flip 14 running Windows 10 family Edition, it is a convertible Laptop that switches to tablet mode when I flip the screen. Yesterday when I was using the laptop in touchscreen mode, I was switching between landscape and portrait display, I accidentally kept the power button pressed down resulting in forcing laptop power off. I assume that some files or something else are corrupt after that. Now I can power on my laptop, log into my account. Immediately after logging in, my desktop is not showing properly, the screen starts flashing between : - empty desktop for 0.2s

Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

 

After installing windows 10, desktop has no icons and flashes

Any suggestions?
