  1. Windows 10 Desktop loading loop

Hi there! I know there is a same topic/question out there, but it did not help me.

My desktop computer windows 10 keeps on loading just right after logging in. The background wallpaper is there, no desktop icons, the taskbar is there but it shows it is still loading when hovered, when i clicked it just says end process and just loops back to it.

Tried to restart in safe mode, did not work, still has the same problem.

Tried pressing windows key + ctrl + shift + B to restart the video card, did not work either.

Tried restoring did not work also.

Tried ctrl+alt+delete it has options but when i click task manager just goes back to the desktop and does nothing. The task manager did not open.

please help me thanks in advance.

    :)

    Windows 10 desktop loading loop

I just got Windows 10 from the upgrade on August 1st. It boots into the login screen just fine, but when it begins to load the desktop, it goes into a loop. The background picture is there, the bar on the bottom is there, but the icons are missing. The
screen then goes black, and it repeats. Occasionally, the icons appear, but it goes black and continues to do this. I can start the Task Manager from here, but that is all.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

My fix for the desktop loading loop that I had for a week. I UN-installed iCloud rebooted and that fixed the problem! I don't know why this was the problem. I haven't re-installed iCoud yet.
