Windows 10: Windows 10 Desktop system Sleep Mode Not working, whereas Power Mode seems to be working fine.

Hello Everyone. To the point; earlier this year, I did a regular Microsoft Issued update to my Windows 10 Desktop system, and shortly afterwards, I noticed that my system had stopped going into sleep mode, and I had to start manually turning off my system each evening. I have checked everything attempting to determine the cause of the issue, i.e. checked and repaired the Sleep/Power Mode through the Windows Troubleshooter, reset the Sleep/Power mode multiple times, and even checked my bios to see if a program had changed any of those settings...nothing I can find. For issues with sleep mode and power options follow the steps provided below.

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power in the search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

I would suggest you to try updating the Display driver and check if the issue persists. If you already have all the latest drivers from Windows updates, then I would suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest
drivers in compatibility mode and check.

in my Desktop, Sleep Mode doesn’t work

Hi, in my Desktop Sleeping mode doesn't work

16GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro (64 bit),

Things I did:

1. Troubleshooting>Power>Issues found "Time before the computer goes to sleep is too long" - Problem not solved.
2. Troubleshooting>System Maintenance> No Issues Found.
3. Control Panel>Power Options>Unchecked "Turn on fast startup", Restore default settings for all power plans - Problem not solved.

Please help me to solve this issue.

 

Windows 10 Sleep Mode no longer working

I upgraded to Windows 10 with no issues. After about a week, sleep mode stopped working. It works fine if I force it into sleep mode by selecting Power...Sleep. But, it will no longer go into sleep on it's own once the specified time interval has elapsed.
I tried a couple of suggestions offered on this subject:

Under advanced settings.....Multimedia.... I set "Sharing Media" to "Allow to sleep".

Under sleep I enabled "Hybrid Sleep".

Neither of the above had any affect. Are there any other suggestions? Perhaps there is a way of determining which function is causing the laptop to NOT enter sleep mode?
