Discus and support Windows 10 Developer Tools released in Windows 10 News to solve the problem; Still installing on my VM - takes forever!!!     Windows 10 Developer Tools released


    Still installing on my VM - takes forever!!!
    Had to create a new VM as the old VM's hard drive wasn't big enough.
    Had to install Visual Studio 2015 CTP6 before installing the tools
    Also, the update to 10046 didn't load at first, so I had to update to it after installing VS and the tools
    Phew!

  3. Disable Windows 10 F12 Developer tools

    See if either of these steps the unwanted appearance of Developer Tool:

    1. Developer Tool> cryptic symbol that's a gear icon and 3 lines> verify that

    "Persist Emulation settings" is disabled

    2. Developer Tool> select the Emulation tab then exit

    3. A little more serious, but safe and reversible...

    there are REG files to disable or re-enable Dev Tool.

    Download both and run/merge the file to disable.

    Disable Windows 10 F12 Developer tools

    Hi,

    Apologize for the difficulties that you're experiencing regarding this issue and also for the delay in getting back to you.

    Did you try disabling the F12 Developer tools in Internet Explorer and check?

    If not, launch the Internet Explorer and click Gear icon
    on top right corner or press Alt + X, uncheck the F12 Developer Tools.

    Please post back with the screen shot of the Internet Explorer with the Gear icon options
    for better understanding.
