Windows 10: Windows 10 DHCP service configuration used by Hyper-v default virtual switch

I would like to change the configuration of the DHCP service that responds under the default switch used by the HyperV virtual machines to access the internet.

In my case the VM get the address in the range 172.24.160.0/28 and I would like to change it to 192.168.100/24 plus set a different nameserver as default to be forwarded to the VM.

The connection is working and I can get internet connection on the VM, although the nameserver is not set properly and I need to setup manually for each machine.

I tried using powershell on the host machine to get the DHCP configuration but Get-DhcpServerSetting is not recognized by the system (just through me CommandNotFoundException).

Tried searching the registry but could not get from where this IP is coming from after searching it.

My system is a Windows 10 Pro, version 1803 (updated ‎19/‎05/‎2018). VM are running Ubuntu 18, servers and desktop.

Importing Virtual PC -> Hyper V

Thank you. I followed the instructions below, and when I go to hit the action menu to install Integration services, of course, there is no such option under the Action Menu. The instructions seem so simple but I'm still missing something...

Step 4: Install or upgrade integration services

Hyper-V includes a software package for supported guest operating systems that improves integration between the physical computer and the virtual machine. This package is referred to as integration services. To learn more, see Integration
Services.

This step can't be automated or done within a Windows PowerShell session.

To install integration services

• 
  Open Hyper-V Manager. From the Server Manager Tools menu, click Hyper-V Manager.

  Connect to the virtual machine. Right-click the name of the virtual machine and click Connect.

  From the Action menu of Virtual Machine Connection, click Insert Integration Services Setup Disk. This action loads the setup disk in the virtual DVD drive. Depending on the guest operating system installed, you may
  need to start the installation manually.
  
• 
  After the installation finishes, all integration services are available for use.

step #1 gives me an error:

Step #2 also gives no option to delete






I'm pretty sure I'll be able to accomplish step #3....*Wink


Edit#2 - I deleted them in Device Manager...still will not delete from Hyper-V. Going for a reboot now.
