Windows 10: Windows 10 didnt install before on mbr now it does?

Hello so im really confused, i always switch bitween win 10 and win 7 so first i wanna say i have motherboard gigabyte uefi dual bios and it set on "uefi and legacy" so always when i want to install win7 it tell me i need mbr and when i want install win 10 it tell me i need gpt so i always use 3rd party software and convert, however last time i was with win7 mbr , and i wanted to install win 10 and it didnt tell me to convert, like what?? Why? But i convert anyway cause i heard win10 supp gpt or smth but when i did that it start tell to convert again to mbr, i switched the boot mode to uefi only and i could install it, now im not that good to pc stuff but i cant understand this in anyway

1. Why it didnt tell me to change this and i never changed the boot mode before

2. Can someone tell what the releation of gpt and uefi and mbr with legacy or win 10 wih gpt, xd im sry i dont know even what to ask cause i dont get it, i mean if it require uefi mode to boot up with gpt why it did before normal, i hope somone can explaon it good for me

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
