Windows 10: Windows 10 different BSODs every day

Hi, I'm running a new PC from October/November 2018 and I keep getting blue screens throughout the day during random moments, or the PC will freeze and need a restart.


I don't know what information I need to provide so here's what I can think of:


AMD Ryzen processor (5 1500X Quad-Core, 3.50 GHz)

Windows 10 Home, version 1809

16.0 GB RAM

ASRock AB350M Pro4 motherboard



The blue screens started maybe a few days after installing Windows/getting the computer running. They might not happen every day, but on the days they occur there are many stop codes, and they're usually different.


The last three BSODs that occurred today were within 5 minutes of each other, and one was specifically a "kmode exception not handled" with a failed classpnp . sys. I don't remember the first one but the third was a memory management stop code.



Also, looking at the events viewer for windows log>system, the recent errors are all DistributedCOM, 10016 errors...




Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't particularly want to wipe the computer clean but if I have to to fix the problem, I will, and I'm also planning a Windows reinstall.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

7 different BSoD

Hey guys,

I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

• system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
• updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
• updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
• rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
• removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD

• Temps are fine
• no sfc /scannow errors
• no chkdsk errors
• Prime, Furmark all fine
• regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
• I did no hw changes, no OC

Here are my BSoDs I receive:

• 0x0000010e
• 0x1000007e
• 0x0000007e
• 0x0000004e
• 0x0000003b
• dxgmms1.sys
• PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

They all refer to the GPU of course ...

From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
