Windows 10: Windows 10 Digital License won't re-activate after a Reformat - Error: 0xC004F213

Hi! As the title says - The reason I reformatted my C: SSD hard drive was because after a restart it booted me into this recovery page right after BIOS check. I got to choose between reformat, rollback recovery, repair etc, so I could not access my computer anymore so a reformat it is. Tried endlessly to restart to no avail so I was forced to do a reformat.


During the process I disconnected my D: hard drive from my PC to protect it from a hard reformat through opening my PC case and unplugging my D: disk, reformatted my C: SSD via external HDD hard drive, got into my computer after successful windows reinstall, shut my computer off, reconnected my D: hard drive, and restarted my computer. Now it has a fresh windows 10 on my C: SSD as it did before and my D: disk intact as it was before, only it won't reactivate my windows digital license.


How I got my digital license? Got it for free by microsoft when W10 was released. Upgraded it from windows 7 and the whole process was pretty straight forward.


What resources have I've exhausted before coming here?

• Control panel/Windows Security/Activation/Troubleshoot - No solution was found and it forwarded me to a web chat.
• Through the troubleshooter accessing online chat with microsoft support. After waiting 10-30 seconds the chat gets disconnected. This repeats without fail.
• Power Shell Admin -> Command: "wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey". Once i hit enter the "OA3xOriginalProductKey" gets re-posted a line under and not doing/showing me anything.
• Looking through other support threads with similar problems but not finding a solution addressing my issue.

I do not have a license key because I have a digital license, please keep that in mind.

Aside from disconnecting and reconnecting my D disk, no hardware whatsoever was changed. Every single part is the same as before the reformat.
