Windows 10: Windows 10 digital licenses - Troubleshoot failed - Error code 0xC004F074

Hey there,


I've noticed my Windows 10 isn't activated. I'm not sure since when that's the case.


I did a hardware upgrade (motherboard and other stuff) about 8 months ago. Maybe it's since then?

Anyhow, I have the Windows 10 Pro since upgrading from Windows 8.1.


When I went on the Activation Page in Settings I have the "Error code 0xC004F074"


When I try to run the Activation Troubleshoot to solve the activation issue, it doesn't get anywhere. It asks me if I'm connected to the Internet (I am) and then to contact my admin (that's me!).


Any idea how to solve this?

How do I fix error code 0xC004F074. I have tried troubleshooting but it hasn't worked and I haven't been able to activate windows 10 because of this error.

Hello,

I bought my HP laptop with windows 10 Pre-installed on March 2016. Recently a message started poping up saying

"YOUR WINDOWS LICENCE WILL EXPIRE SOON"

You need to activate windows in your settings.

And in the settings a message shows " Your windows expires on 08th August. Contact your system administrator to get a product key. ERROR CODE : 0xC004F074 "

I tried to activate it with product key I got when I purchased the product as suggested by 'https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10738/windows-activation-errors' . But it shows that Windows
can't be activated with this product key. Go to settings for more information. Error Code : 0xC004F074

Please help as to what I need to do to activate my product.

What is causing Prime 95 to keep failing all the time in the first 10 minutes?

...and what will be your next step if THAT fails to make Prime stable? More volts?

I would think you would want to be using the LEAST amount of volts possible (for heat and longevity issues). That's why I suggested you use a more scientific approach to troubleshooting your instabilty. Meaning, IF your RAM passes 10 loops of MemTest with no errors at the speed you are trying to run, AND Prime continues to fail, THEN consider giving a bump to NB, FSB and Vcore (in that order).
