Windows 10: Windows 10 Disable CD/DVD Group Policy without Disabling USB Ports

OK, So in Win7 I had a GPO that Disabled Users access to CD-Rom drive and restricted use of USB Thumb Drives. In Windows10 the Similar GPO Disables the USB Port Completely (rather than restricting Thumb Drives), so USB Keyboards & Mice no longer work etc! There has to be a Policy that can be configured to simply restrict Removable Media (CD/DVD & USB) without killing USB input devices, right?!?

Anyone Tackled this one yet?

Apologies for the late reply.

Follow the steps mentioned below: if you are using Windows 10 professional

• 
  Open Search type “GPedit” and select group policy edit from the list.
  
• 
  In the left pane, click on to expand User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and File Explorer
  
• 
  In the right pane, double click/tap on Remove CD Burning features to edit it.
  
• 
  Select Disable.
  
• 
  Click OK.
  
• 
  Close the Local Group Policy Editor window.
