Windows 10: Windows 10 Display driver troubleshooting 2023

The Display driver is so important here that merely updating it is sometimes not enough. So let's try everything possible to get it working correctly: 1 First make sure you have updated the Display driver from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page for your exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag - from the sticker on the PC. While there check also for newer chipset, BIOS/UEFI firmware very important, network, sound, USB3 and other drivers, comparing to the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Display Driver kept crashing

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers after the latest update, we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to check with the display driver status from Device Manager.

Press Windows + x, click on Device Manager, expand
Display Adapter, right click on the driver, click on
Properties. You will find the driver status.

Method 2: I suggest you to Run Hardware troubleshooter as it will help in resolving the issues with hardware and resolve any simple issues found.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.

Method 3: I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Press “Windows key + X”.
• Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Search box and hit enter.
• Select “Hardware and Sound” from the Troubleshooter Window.
• Select “Hardware and Devices” under Devices option.
• Follow the On Screen instructions.

Method 2: Update the latest display drivers and check if that helps:

Follow these steps:

• Press “Windows Key + X” from the keyboard.
• Type “device Manager” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.
• Right click on the display drivers and select
  “Update”.

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the latest display
drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
