Windows 10: Windows 10 - Display Error - Part of screen is frozen

Hi,


I've been having this issue with Windows 10 on my Acer laptop (Aspire 5: A515-51G with 8GB RAM, 2GB nVidia graphics card, core i5-7200) ever since i bought it. Most of the time, part of my screen is clogged with some part of the previous screen/app - it is almost like a translucent layer over the current app. If i was using some App, and i took some action like Save the file or close it, or performed an action from the task pane, following which i close the app window, then part of that screen stays even though the app is closed. If i reset the graphics drivers using Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B, then that frozen part disappears, but soon enough, some new part of the screen will freeze.


I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate my problem. I'd be happy to provide any more details that you need. Please help ! I'm trying to record some e-learning and this is causing a huge issue.

It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

• Boot your computer in
  safe mode.
• Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
• Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
• Restart your computer.
