Windows 10: Windows 10 does not allow my Toshiba laptop to read my CD-ROM, use my keyboard dimmer, play...

Ever since I've updated my laptop to Windows 10, it runs slower, I can't use my CD-ROM, some of the keys on my keyboard don't work and I'm experiencing loud beeping noises that erupt from my speaker randomly.

For an update, it really didn't do much but create problems while using my laptop.

What do I need to do in order to fix ll of my problems?

CD-ROM not reading any disks

The other day I tried to watch a DVD on my laptop but it wouldn't play. It didn't even think there was a disk in the tray. After a bit of fiddling I noticed that it was listed in 'My Computer' as a BD-ROM but listed in 'Device Manager' as a BD-Rom which
seemed strange to me. I don't know if that has any bearings but it's worth mentioning on the off chance it does. I have also tried to play a game and a Blu-Ray disk on the laptop both with the same effect.

I have tried uninstalling drivers in Device Manager, making sure drivers are updated completely (they are), and checking that AutoPlay is turned on (it is). Any other tips would be super.

I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 with an Intel Core 6500U CPU running on Windows 10

DVD CD rom not working
