    Windows 10 does not apply custom ICC profile on startup.


    My ICC profile shows up in the "Color Management" menu, but is not actually applied.I have to click "set as default" every single time I start my computer.I'm using Windows 10 Professional, 20H2, 19042.1110.

    ICC Profiles Don't Apply

    No matter how many times I try to apply ICC or ICM profiles, they do nothing at all. Is there an extra step that I need to do or something? I already checked the box for "Use Windows Calibration"

    Unable to load custom ICC color profile in Windows 10

    My monitor requires a custom ICC color profile to display correctly. Under Windows 8.1, I was able to load this using the Color Management utility. After upgrading to Windows 10, the utility appears the same, however, I'm unable to load the profile.

    The process I've been using is:

    • open Color Management
    • Under the "Advanced" tab, click "Change system defaults"
    • Under the "Devices" tab, click "Add..."
    • Click "Browse..." in the popup window and locate the custom profile file and click "add"
    Then nothing happens. Under Windows 8.1, the custom profile would appear under the list of "Profiles associated with this device", but not in Windows 10.

    Any fixes for this?

    Hi Max,

    Since you've recently installed the Windows 10 Creators update, you may need to look into the color management of your computer to apply the ICC profiles. You may follow the steps shared by
    Neeeeks on this link.
