Windows 10: Windows 10 does not install over Windows 7 SP1

Discus and support Windows 10 does not install over Windows 7 SP1 in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; I have been trying to upgrade to Windows 10 but the system refuses to upgrade as it says "CPU isn't supported".     Windows 10 does not install over Windows 7 SP1


    I have been trying to upgrade to Windows 10 but the system refuses to upgrade as it says "CPU isn't supported".

    I am using Pentium Dual Core CPU E5700 @ 34.oo Ghz

    What may be wrong?

    OEM Plain Windows 7 to Windows 10?

    I understand that Windows 10 upgrade is intended for SP1-level Windows 7. I have a laptop (OEM Windows 7) on which SP1 will not install. Have gone over that with the manufacturer and with MS Answer Desk. Is my only option to get the upgrade to first clean-install/re-image
    with Windows 7 (wiping all existing programs/data), then do SP1?

    Is this an upgrade to Windows 10 over Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1 or are you trying to install Windows 10 on a blank/formatted hdd/SSD ?

    Windows 10 does not install over Windows 7 SP1

    Your CPU seems to comply with the minimum requirements - Try enabling Execute disable bit in bios. Not sure exactly where it is, but check under security.
