  1. Windows 10 Does not Recognize my AT2020 XLR Microphone

Hello. For some unknown reason, my AT2020 XLR mic is not recognized as input by Windows 10. I've updated all the drivers on my laptop, went on device manager to show all disabled and disconnected devices, allowed all apps to access my microphone, and restarted my pc several times, and ran troubleshoot, but to no avail. All while my mic was connected to my focusrite interface. Now, I did try connecting it on my old PC, and oddly the mic was recognized. Quite frustrating Windows 10 on my laptop won't do the same thing. As you can see in the screenshot, my mic doesn't show up as one of the input device options. Have no clue why.

Windows 10 USB Microphone quietness + low quality (AT2020 USB)

As stated in the original post, I own the AT2020+ model and not the AT2020 standard USB microphone, so this can't be the case.

Windows 10 USB Microphone quietness + low quality (AT2020 USB)

As I mentioned there was been a change in audio codecs and how Windows handles some audio functions starting with Win 8.1.
There are many audio devices and software that work perfectly in Win 7 or Win 8 that do not work at all or partially in Win 8.1 and Win 10.

I had a Roland Edirol PCR500 MIDI Keyboard. I "had" as I had to dump it as it is not supported by Roland for Win 10. It worked fine in Win 7 and Win 8 but no Win 10 support. It is now being used by a person that remained on Win 7 due to his old hardware not being fully Win 10 compatible.

I missed the "+" in your original post. All I saw was reference to "AT2020".

Sadly, you have two options (1) replace the mic with something that is 100% Win 10 compatible or (2) Return to Win 7.
If you were to consider replacement I would suggest a "standard" microphone with XLR connection and a USB interface unit such as the Focusrite Scarlett units (Focusrite is a UK company and has superior support).

Razer Launches Seiren Pro Microphone for Streamers with XLR Recording

Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the Razer Seirēn Pro, a digital microphone designed for streamers and YouTubers.
The Razer Seirēn Pro includes a high-pass filter to remove low-end ambient noises, such as hums, rumbles, traffic and wind, which streamers may face when creating content. This makes the Razer Seirēn Pro digital microphone ideal for the needs of live video broadcasters, YouTubers and even aspiring musicians that value clarity.

Additionally, the Razer Seirēn Pro gives streamers the option of recording via an analog XLR or digital USB connection. The XLR cable allows the Razer Seirēn Pro to be plugged directly into mixing boards and cameras. Users can chain together multiple microphones and instruments to the board with the XLR option, with increased flexibility for adjustments on the fly during live sessions.
