Windows 10: Windows 10 doesn't recognise my password only my PIN and doesn't let me change the way of...

Hey there,


I've been having this very frustrating issue of me having to use my PIN to sign-in because my password doesn't work. I can use the password to sign onto my Microsoft account online but as soon as I want to sign onto my device it doesn't recognise it; thus me resorting to use my PIN instead. I tried the safe-mode method but that did not work either. Though I am able to change the password there, which doesn't help me because I picked one security question that I cannot answer, and of course I didn't write them down like who ever would need those? Security questions aren't even secure, they are the most idiotic thing anyone has ever thought of, this is a Microsoft Account not a secret bar


I read articles about this issue for 8 hours now and I really don't wanna do any more.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Upgrade to windows 10. Current password doesn t work

Current password doesn t work incorrect. Reset password requirs some usb stick which is not in my posession. Any ideas ? Try to access microsoft account but non of my email adress is recognised so cannot try this option.

I deleted all my data. I had have it backed up.

I did a clean installation using the windows media creation tool (usb option).

No, I didn`t. I thought a clean installation would solve the problem.

After posting my previous message, I did it.





After chkdsk, I close cmd and tried to boot and the laptop just turned it off. This morning I`ve restarted it and automatically windows did a repair. Windows has booted and it seems that the repair tool has removed chrome and acrobat pdf reader (the only two programs I had installed after reinstalling windows).

Now Windows is installing updates and restarting my lapop, I`m kind of frightened. I don`t want it to happen again. Anyhow, I want to know what has brought the issue

I`ve been looking for information about the error code at the end of the picture and I didn`t get anywhere.
