Windows 10: Windows 10 doesn't resume from hibernation

Discus and support Windows 10 doesn't resume from hibernation in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; I've just received a brand new Dell laptop Inspiron 7001 and i've tried enabling the hibernate function in Windows 10, but any time i try it it doesn't...     Windows 10 doesn't resume from hibernation


    I've just received a brand new Dell laptop Inspiron 7001 and i've tried enabling the hibernate function in Windows 10, but any time i try it it doesn't resume any of the programs i had open. I've tried multiple suggested fixes like:-Update device drivers and BIOS firmware-Disable fast startup-Disable and re-enabled hibernation-Check the integrity of the OS with sfc /scannow and chkdsk-Check the presence of the hiberfil.sys file-Uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option of the

    Failing to resume from Hibernate in Windows 10 may be caused by an outdated driver or operating system component or that an application is causing the resume from Hibernate to fail. For us to isolate the issue in failing to resume from Hibernate, kindly
    respond to the questions below:

    • Have you made any significant changes to your device prior to the issue? If yes, what are they?
    • Are there any third-party applications installed on your device?
    • Have you checked if Windows 10 is updated? Go to Settings >
      Update & security       > Check for updates.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Windows 10 somtimes resumes and sometimes "Restarts" from hibernation?

    I am experiencing same issue, you hibernate, it resumes, next time, it reboots, the next one, it reboots, next, it resumes, then reboots, resumes, resumes, reboots, resumes, reboots, reboots. it is pure free madness from microsoft

    Window 10 needs to get the hibernation part correctly before release.

    A lot of developers rely on "hibernate" because it saves the time spent re-opening all IDEs, initializing projects, looking for where you left off, etc.

    I hate windows without hibernate.

    i tried all your suggestions and nothing worked.
