Windows 10: Windows 10 doesn't see external HD

I recently reset computer to factory settings. I am able to see/use the USB drive but my external hard drive doesn't appear. In fact, it never showed even before the reset.

The external drive is accessible and works well with my other computer.

I'm not well-versed on fixing computer issues but I do well with following detailed instructions.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

External HD Connection Problem

I have attached an external HD to my computer running Windows 10 and it will not show up in my drive list. The properties shows it as Seagate.ink - what is an ink file and any suggestions as to how I can get it to work?
