    Windows 10 Doesnt use more than 8gb of 32Gb RAM for "Standby"ram why ?


    So my windows only Utilizes 3-8gb of ram for standby ram why ? i want to use it all of my ram or close to max to fully utilize my ram.

    Sysmain service is running and also generating PF files so it seems "to do its thing" sadly it doesnt use my ram.

    Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

    Hi There,

    I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

    • I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
    • physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it
    Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

    RAM Upgrade to 32GB, windows 10 won't start


    1. Double check with your MB manual if the RAM is on the compatibily list
    2. Make sure all the RAM sticks are firmly seated
    3. Go into BIOS, under System Status and check for Total Physical RAM. Should be 32GB
    4. Most of the time, The RAM voltage is set to Auto, manually set the voltage according to the RAM Spec.
    5. If all fails, relax the RAM timing a little bit.

    I am using Windows 10 32 bit operating system with 8GB Ram. My laptop showing only 1.91 GB Ram usable, PLEASE help me how to used all 8gb ram?
