    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Windows 10 Always Doubled My File Size When I Moved That File Into Another Partition/Disk

So this is very annoying and pretty much bug for me. When i moved my files into another partition/disk, windows always doubled my file size.

For example, i have a .mkv video that has 10 GB size, and i placed it in C: drive. I want to moved it to D: drive which has 17 GB of free space because i want to store another 10 GB files in C: drive. And when i moved it to D: drive, windows says :

"There's not enough space on D: Drive" "3 GB is needed to moved this item. Delete or move files so you have enough space."

This is very annoying, because i can't moved any of my files into anywhere when i run out of space. It also doubled when i tried to copy it to USB drive. Is there any solution??? I looked for an answer since i updated this windows version from 1703 to 1709.

OS Version : Windows 10 Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.431)

    Page file size?

Deleting it is fine, but keep in mind if you delete your page file a memory dump has no where to go and will be deleted. Not a big deal but just FYI. Really there is nothing to gain by deleting a page file. Except for the physical space. Windows set your page file the same size as your ram for a reason. So suggesting you should delete it if you have 16+ Gb ram and wont need it is inaccurate. You can also recover Data on a BSOD if you have the dump file

"Microsoft says that, when the page file is set to a system-managed size and the computer is configured for automatic memory dumps, “Windows sets the size of the paging file large enough to ensure that a kernel memory dump can be captured most of the time.” As Microsoft points out, crash dumps are an important consideration when deciding what size the page file should be. The page file must be large enough to contain the memory data."
