Windows 10: Windows 10 download and key

I want to buy or get legally for free a copy of windows 10, but I'm confused.I see this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISOIt suggests I can get a copy of Windows 10 for free. I see others online saying that gives you the ISO but you still need a keyI'm not sure if I will then need to buy a activation key.I see vendors selling activation keys.I'm downloading the ISO from MS as I write this and am not ready to install to find out. Will I need a key?Is there anything to worry about buying a key from a vendor?By the way; If install Windows 10, and get it running

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

Google and download the "Windows 10 media creation tool"

Create a USB flash drive ISO and that's all you need...it will work without needing a key..
Just skip past entering a key during full install and delete all partitions, format, create new drive and install...

As long as you have upgraded from Windows 8 first...you need to do that prior to using your Windows 8 key for 10.
