    Windows 10 drive security reset.


    I wanted windows 10 to not to interfere when I am deleting or modifying advanced files that are protected by windows. So I thought why not just take the ownership of the whole system drive? But after I did that, a lot of things in windows started malfunctioning. Start, search, cortona, ms store, films and tv, feedback hub, and much more apps that are really bind with windows do not start. I remember that TrustedInstaller was the owner of the system drive. So I gave TI the ownership of my system drive, but nothing fixed. I started messing around with the drive security, but still no success. W

    Is my SSD killing Windows? [UPDATE: fixed]

    SE = Secure Erase the drive. This 'resets' it back to out-of-the-factory (writes 0/1's to it essentially). IIRC, you have to initialize the drive again to be able to see it. Its a step or two deeper than formatting it through Windows.
