Windows 10: Windows 10 driver for LifeCam VX-1000

Discus and support Windows 10 driver for LifeCam VX-1000 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I need a webcam for online classes.     Windows 10 driver for LifeCam VX-1000


    I need a webcam for online classes. I have a LifeCam VX-1000 but cannot find a driver suitable for windows 10. Suggestions?

    Please does anyone have a link to a step by step for me.

    LifeCam VX-1000 drivers on Windows10

    Need drivers for LifeCam vx-1000 on windows 10 (64bit)

    While the official support page https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/d/lifecam-vx-1000

    says that drivers for windows 8 and above is not required, it fails to install it.

    It is shown in device manager under "other devices" > "usb camera" but "update driver" nor "windows update" fixes this.

    I've also tried to install the windows 7 drivers but no luck either (even if i select to install it under compatibility mode for w7)

    Microsoft: LifeCam VX-1000 Problems in Windows 10

    Why won't my computer (windows 10) detect that my LifeCam VX-1000 is connected, and why did Microsoft say in the drivers page for the device that windows 8 and beyond does't need a driver for the LifeCam VX-1000 when on my computer it said it doesn't work??
