    Windows 10 Driver Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Optical when available?


    I'm very used to my 5 button mouse selecting, copy and paste with 1 hand is very convenient against the short cut Control C and Control V and single clic for double clic So I wonder if there is a solution to get a Windows 10 driver Or do I have to quite with this mouse? What can we expect from Microsoft to one of his own products ??

    Microsoft Amsterdam told me to support this mouse not more.

    Great free program. Gave me back control of all my Intellimouse Optical USB mouse buttons, wheel, etc.

    I was really disappointed that Microsoft did not make available Windows 10 drivers to support all the features of this great old mouse.

    why is there no drivers for the IntelliMouse Optical for windows 10? the drivers that win10 installed do not have the ability to set the wheel button as a double click button.

    Just to let you know that you can install intellipoint 8.2 on your windows 10 OS and get all the functionality of your mouse buttons using this windows software. Any earlier versions won't run on windows 10. Intellipoint will recognise the exact model of mouse you have and you can programme your buttons to suit. You can even load a specific programme you use on your computer and configure the buttons to work differently just in that specific programme. Hope this helps.
    PS I'm a great fan of the intellimouse and use an explorer 3
