Windows 10: Windows 10 Drivers for ATI HD 4500 on HP 6540b laptop ?

hi

i have a laptop HP 6540b & installed & purchased license for windows 10 LTSC x64.

that cant install & detect drivers for gpu ATI HD Mobility 4500.

i downloaded "win10-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-edition-20.7.2-july14" & ran that but not effective.


please help me the issue?

ATI Driver 4300/4500 HD

I just installed a genuine Windows 10 64bit. I have the ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500. I was asking which drivers should I install. Also, I downloaded a auto detecting app from the website of ATI, and it shows I have A Series APU as my graphics hardware, and
they can't find a driver for my system. Please help!

Hello.

Just thought I would offer up this information in the hope that it may help.

Recently, Windows 10 did an automatic update on drivers, and I lost the option for the
1600x900 resolution which I also need.

What I noticed, if I opened my Device Manager (right click on
start menu and click on Device Manager) and then double-clicked on
Display Adapters, I got ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series displaying.

If I then right-clicked on this (ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series) and then clicked on
Properties, it was showing "No Drivers Installed for this device"

Next, I right-clicked on my desk-top screen and clicked on
Display Settings. There was an option to Display Adapter Properties. After clicking on this, it was showing
"Microsoft Basic Display Driver" and this was up to date.

I was confused at this point as I am no wizard when it comes to computers. I realised that I had an option here, but I was too scared to install or update the
ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series as I thought there might be some sort of conflict that would make matters worse.

So, I contacted support, and this is what solved the issue.

Go back to the Device Manager (right click on start menu) and
update the ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series where it gives you that option. The trick is though,
update it to January 2015 update. Reason being ? AMD does not have a current working driver for this graphics card.

This is what the technician told me.

He did this for me by remote assistance, but it is a simple step. What I noticed afterwards too is when I looked back in the
Display Adapter Properties (through the desk-top screen), the "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" had gone and was now showing as
ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series.

Oh, and of course, you get your 1600x900 resolution back !

ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4500 - Driver update on Windows 10

I have an old Dell Studio 1558 laptop. I have been running Windows 10 Technical Preview ever since the program kicked-off and everything was running fine.

Last week, I received an driver update for ATI Graphics through Windows Update. Post update, the display resolution switched to 1440x900 or something like that. My laptop screen supports 1080 resolution.

Digging into the display settings showed that the display adapter listed is "Windows Basic Display Driver".

I launched "Device Manager" and found "ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4500" listed under "Display Adapters". When I checked its properties it says the driver is up to date and the device is enabled too.

I want my 1080 resolution back. My display suddenly seems like is in the 90s.
