Windows 10 dual user profiles for same account

I have been researching this issue but none are quite similar, please read details.

I am helping my Aunt with her Windows 10 computer - she lost her entire desktop icons and settings back around March 1st 2020. But when I dive in to figure out whats going on its not a so straight forward issue.

Her system ID is "Owner". But when I bring up a command prompt the path is: C:\Users\TEMP. It should be C:\Users\Owner.

When she reboots her computer, there are no login screens, it just goes straight to the Desktop. But now its going to the Desktop coming from the Users\Temp directory and not the Desktop from the Users\Owner directory.

Going to Settings -> User Accounts, it only lists "Owner - Local Administrator". It doesn't even list the Temp account.

In "System Properties -> Advanced -> User Profiles -> Settings" window, there are four listed accounts:

    1. Default Profile Local / 45Mb

    2. Defaultuser Local / 2.5Mb

    3. Owner Backup / 18.3Gb

    4. Owner Temporary / 177 Mb

How do I get rid of the "Temporary" Owner account? And how do I get the correct Owner account back to saying "local" instead of "backup"? I feel if this can be done my Aunt's computer will be back to normal again.

Here is a screen shot of her settings, again, the ONLY place I can find or see the dual Owner accounts is in this User Profiles window.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Windows 10 dual user profiles for same account :(
