Windows 10: Windows 10 Dynamic lock with iPhone

Hey. There was another post about this, but it was posted two years ago, so I figured I'd ask again, since Windows is always updating and changing.


I know the app who's name escapes me at the moment that allows you to send and recieve phone calls and text messages on your PC is currently only compatible with Android phones, but does Dynamic lock work with iPhones? I tried this about a year and a half ago and initially it seemed to work, but every time i would come back, it said there was something wrong with the paired device. I decide to ask about it this time so I don't waste my time figuring it out, lol


Also, somewhat unrelated side note: is Authenticator supposed to time-out really quickly? Whenever I sign into my microsoft account it sends a request to Authenticator but it times out before I even unlock my phone. Is that normal?

just to clarify, I'm running the latest version of Windows 10 and I have an iPhone 7

Dynamic lock can't find iPhone.

Thanks Ed, using that program it appears not to show a problem.
The first is when dynamic lock is connected to my iPhone:




This second cap is when my iPhone is off & after unlocking the PC:




And this third cap is when my phone is back on yet Dynamic lock says it can't find the iPhone:




The problem only started with 1803 update & I've also noticed that within the action centre>Bluetooth it used to show my iPhone as connected yet it now doesn't.
I suspect the 1803 update brought something new to Bluetooth which has affected dynamic lock.

 

Dynamic lock and iPhone?

Does Dynamic Lock work with iPhones, or just Windows 10 mobile? I'd assume that since they both have Bluetooth, it should work.

Dynamic lock is designed to be paired for Windows phones. However, as time goes by it's also became well matched to Android devices. As of now, this is not compatible with iPhone even though it can be successfully paired to a Windows device. Nevertheless,
making dynamic lock available to all phone models will be a great addition to Windows 10 features. You may submit this idea through
Windows 10 Feedback Hub. Every suggestions will be reviewed by our developers, and your
idea might be added on our future updates.
