    Windows 10 Education / Enterprise 1909 stuck at reboot / shutdown


    Hi,


    is there anybody who can help me with a strange shutdown / reboot problem of Windows 10 Enterprise 1909 running on Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Intel? When running for more than some hours, the reboot / shutdown of Windows gets stuck with "Restarting" with spinning animation. What I have already tried:
    - All updates and driver updates installed
    - sfc and dism checks
    - Turn off fast boot
    - Turn on detailed progress messages for start / shutdown all services seem to shutdown properly and so on
    - Run xbootmgr to get a WPA Windows performance analyzer trace

    I managed to capture s stuck reboot with xbootmgr and it successfully does the following steps after service shutdown and such:
    - Shutdown Devices
    - Zero Page File
    - IO Shutdown System

    "CM Shutdown System" seems to be the last entry. I am really clueless here, what might be wrong :-

    Windows 10 pro will not shutdown or restart. Gets stuck

    I tried to shutdown and restart my pc but both times they STUCK! I left it for 15 minutes and still had to force shutdown

    Windows 10 Enterprise turns into Education

    this is not what i mean. I mean that i had windows 10 enterprise and after updating to v1903 it turned into windows 10 education
