Windows 10: Windows 10 Education

I have downloaded Windows 10 Education, Version 1803 (Updated March 2018) 64-bit from Microsoft Imagine as ISO file (Size: 4 GB) and I will burn the image to a USB flash drive.


The question is, if I have a new PC without any OS installed in it, could I I install the Windows from the USB directly without any OS in this PC?

I am asking about this because the System Requirements show that if I want to (upgrade) to Windows 10, I have to make sure that the latest version either Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update is running. Just to be safe, I would first recommend you upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, then perform the Easy Upgrade to Windows 10 Education.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

Windows Education Issue

Are you have Windows 10 Education installed?

To find out if you have the right edition installed:

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Edition.

If you don't have the right edition installed, you will need to download and install it.

Step 1:

Download Windows 10 Education ISO files

If you attend a college or university, your institution might provide you with the Education edition of Windows 10. If you are only provided with a license (product key), you can download the .ISO file from the Microsoft Download Academic Products website.
