Windows 10: Windows 10 email app changes hyperlinks in gmail

I use Win 10 email app for gmail. Lately it has changed all hyperlinks in emails, so they do not open. The only thing I can click on this is OK. I can't right click it even. Message: Unable to open. Hover Example:

Is the mail app corrupt? Should I uninstall and reinstall? Thanks for any help or feedback on this issue, as I would really like to keep using the Win 10 mail app.

Hyperlinks don't work in Quick Gmail App

In the Quick Gmail app hyperlinks in gmail messages don't work.
When the hyperlink is clicked the message "You'll need a new app to open this about" comes up.
If I go to gmail through Firefox or Windows Edge the hyperlink works fine.
Is there a fix for this?

 

Hyperlinks in Gmail with Windowd 10

Just installed Windows 10. When I click on hyperlinks in emails within Gmail nothing happens. How can I fix that?

 

Windows 10 email embedded hyperlinks not opening

Just loaded Windows 10 as an upgrade. Use IE and gmail for email. Embedded hyperlinks to website in the email don't open; the new windows store opens and says I need a new app to open the hyperlink. Then when you search for the app it messages back saying
can't find a an "about" app.

Anybody know how to correct this?
