Windows 10: Windows 10 Enterprise: License will expire soon

Problem: I have above ver of Windows 10 Enterprise edition that was imaged onto my laptop from Microsoft corpnet, when I was working as a contractor for the company. In last day started getting prompt" Your windows license will expire soon". I am now no longer working there, so guessing since I am not connected to corpnet there is no connection to the activation service, which is reason behind message.


Question: Can this be solved by purchasing a Windows 10 Pro key, and avoid having to do a complete reinstall of Windows 10?


Appreciate any thoughts on how best to resolve.

Hi, I received an old company computer as a company gift. It came with windows 10 enterprise. I am now getting a pop up saying "windows license will expire soon". When will the license expire? Do I need to buy a Windows license? Can I go back to the Windows
version that came installed with the computer which I believe should be at no additional cost?

Can someone please advise what I should do?

I have recently factory restored my hp envy windows 10. Now i have this message "WINDOWS LICENSE WILL EXPIRE SOON". Im not sure if this is important but i have sent in my hp envy for warranty repairs on the hard disk drive. I bought my hp with windows 10 home edition, but when I sent it in for repairs it came back with windows 10 pro. Any suggestions
