Windows 10: Windows 10 EOL End of life

So I was researching if I should get a Windows Laptop and I scroll through the end of life products and i see this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-home-and-pro , so is windows 10 going to end mainstream support like xp, vista, 7, etc?

This post raises some issues:

1. What happens when Windows 10 reaches EOL (end of life) in 2025?

2. Will Windows 11 or higher versions be released or stay Windows 10?

3. If Windows 11 is released in 2025 will this be a free upgrade?

4. Will the WaaS (Windows as a Service) remain?

5. Will WaaS be replaced with PaygS - Pay as you go service?

 

What happens to Windows 10 when it goes (EOL) after 2025?

I am not too concerned about the date of the article but rather the issues it raises.

Changing it to "Windows" might be a good option but Microsoft kept saying

"Windows 10" will be the last Windows version.

With Windows 10 reaching EOL (end of life) in 2025 , what happens next?

Hi,

Can someone tell me if the following versions of 10 are End of Life and are no longer receiving Security or Critical updates please?

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.14393

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.15063

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

Windows 10 Enterprise - 10.0.17134

I have seen a lot of articles suggesting that the top 4 are. I just want some re-assurance.
