    Windows 10 equivalent to Screen Time?


    Hey hey, I’ve been using the screen time settings on my iPhone to keep myself from spending too much time browsing the internet by blocking Safari. I could undo this within seconds — and I do when I really need to check something — but weirdly enough this is allowing me to stay focused throughout the day instead of reading the news and googling random stuff all the time.

    Now, I’m looking for a similar feature in Windows 10 or, absent such a feature, an app which could do the same. I’ve tried Family Filter, but since I’d be there admin in this setup, it doesn’t really seem to work — or does it?

    I’d love to hear your ideas! Thanks for reading!

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    • Click on Turn off screen after slideshow has played for and select the time limit
