    windows 10 error 0xc0000034

    Error code 0xc0000034 with Windows 10

    I encountered the "0xc0000034"error code immediately after a Windows 10 update (July 12 2017, and yes, I am suggesting the update resulted in a corrupted Boot Configuration Data File) and tried to solve the problem using the Windows 10 "repair your computer"
    utility without success. Under the "Advanced Options"/"Command Prompt" pathway I used "Bootrec" (/fixmbr; /fixboot; /scanos; /rebuildbcd) but at the "Add installation to boot list?" step I got the message "A device attached to the system is not functioning".
    The Toshiba Kira remains unusable. Any suggestions?
