Windows 10: Windows 10 - Error 1068 - No sounds / No internet connection (SOLVED)

Hi guys,

I need guidance and help. Issue on Windows 10

- I have no connection ("not connected- no connections are available)
- I have no sound (the audio service is not running)

The clue might be here so:
For some reasons the 2nd keyboard icons disappeared (I added French, it was working well before). Before to reboot the computer, I disabled some programms when I turn it on to go faster (like skype etc, nothing important)
I installed winrar, downloaded some pictures from dropbox.

I tried some stuff I have seen online but I can't use:

* System File Checker sfc> the window crashes
* Update and security. >window crashes
* In some system thing, it should be 3 and sometimes written 4 for some people. > But for me that's already on 3
* Windows audio and WLAN config. I setup in automatic but I can't restart. >And when I start it crashes with error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start
* I can't create a new user account
"Something went wrong"

I runned an Avast and Malwarebytes test. Nothing found.

I don't have any cd and I don't mind having windows reinstall and lose my files (already copied on usb)

Wi-Fi is on // No connection (after Windows Update)

On Oct 13 windows updated.

The update must've invited malware into my computer. I tried to run my antivirus after the update but it said there's no connection. Google chrome lost connection as well and then I got a pop-up saying that Windows Defender found and blocked a "Severe Trojan
threat". So I deleted it and I still don't have connection... (weirdly) the only thing that works is the Explorer app. I have internet; the Wi-Fi works just fine but, everything else doesn't connect. It's something internal that must be causing
the problem and it all started after the update.

P.S.

It also changed my network from private to public so I had to fix that.

And YES, I did allow these programs through the Firewall so that's not the problem.

Fill out your system spec's. Also you should not be running Avast and Malwarebytes at the same time. This is not a Malware issue, it is a Driver issue. How long ago did you install Windows 10 and what OS were you running before, along with did the devices work properly with the previous OS.

I have this computer for 2/3 months max, windows 10 home from the start then. I think I have made only one upgrade since I have it (I am not sure other upgrade were available).

Also I use it only for internet, words and powerpoint. I do not play any video games

Previous devices worked properly yes. Only connecting my Iphone5s.
Lately installed Garmin express (my cardio watch program), and Winrar. And unstalled Winzip

(I was running Avast first then Malwarebytes after)

 

Anybody can help please?

 

Probably you will need to do an In-Place Upgrade. Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums
As that consumes some time, you could try first to uninstall all updates and re-install them , to see if it fixes.

EDIT: With a In-Place Upgrade, your Files and Apps are not getting lost.

Well this is the main problem I have. I cannot access to Update and recovery. Every time I try to open it, the window immediately crashes
I can open the rest of the options but not this one

The other what crashes as well is the command SFC

I don't have access to connection for some reasons. I will try to download the windos ISO file but I am not sure this is possible without downloading from my computer

Yes, you have to download the ISO. Any way everybody should have a ISO of its OS for this cases.

Now it works. Brilliant

I had some trouble to get this ISO file (I am living abroad and had trouble to find someone to download it for me). After that I couldn't transfer it on a USB key, I had to get a hardrive.

I was running the file, then now it works. Perfect timing because I need to do a PowerPoint presentation for work. I will definitely get this file on a Disc.
