Windows 10: windows 10 Error code: 0xC004C003 after clean install

hello
after upgrading to 10 from 8.1 *not a clean install* windows performance was quite bad
i downloaded windows 10 iso from microsoft website then installed home edition as i was told here it won't ask me for a key and if yes i would be able to skip it and it will activate automatically when connecting to internet

First try slmgr /ato from a command prompt - it might (but most likely will not) work.

If that doesn't work type slui 4 from a command prompt and follow the instructions for phone activation. Eventually you get through to a real person. If you get someone who says "there is currently a technical problem with our servers, please wait a couple of days" then hang up and immediately try again. Eventually someone will activate it for you.

It took me 3 or 4 calls but eventually I got a new Windows 10 key after my third clean install on the same hardware failed with the same error as you.
