Windows 10: Windows 10 error encountered when trying to update windows 10

I can't update windows 10 it takes really long to check for updates and then after like 20 minutes or so it would say "Error encountered".


I also noticed that lots of my apps don't even wanna open such as: VMWARE workstation player. Even file explorer doesn't want to work on chrome when I'm trying to upload something to YouTube.

Hello, I am trying to update from Windows 8 to Windows 10 directly from notifications but I am getting this error after the setup is completed. I am getting this error after: C1900101-30018 Error
