Windows 10: Windows 10: Error preventing update from 1909 to 20h2. Installation stucks at 48% then...

Dear all,Since 2 months now my computer tries to update from the 1909 version to 20h2 with no success.In all cases that I tried:Standard bootingSafe bootingEnsuring I have no device manager errorRunning the update after using windows 10 update troubleshooting toolMaking sure I have enough disk storage C: is fine <-- where updates are done, D: is fullRepairing hard drives error with chkdsk/fRunning a RestoreHealth commandNothing has worked, worst I don't get any error message after the attempt! I am willing to redo any of the trials I mentioned + more if needed with also proper

Windows 10 update 1909 stuck at 48%

Thank you for your suggestion.

I renamed the 'Download' folder, and updated using the MediaCreationTool 1909 (it did a clean Windows 10 install), but that failed too.

After the installation, the system tried doing the updates again and it got stuck at 48% again, like it always does.

When restarting my pc, I got this error: 'We couldn't install Windows 10'

 

Windows 10 Pro 1909 upgrade to 2004 or 20H2 freezes at 48% 0xC1900101

I am a new member and have signed up as I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out for the past few months.

I currently have Windows 10 Pro 1909 installed and Windows update has tried to install Windows 2004, however whilst installing on reboot it freezes at 48%. I have also tried previously to install 2004 with an ISO mounted and USB however with no luck.

Also I have tried installing Windows 20H2 both with ISO and with USB and again it just fails and freezes at 48%.

I have attached the error message I receive i have to force shutdown (once it freezes) and it rolls back any changes.

Please can anyone help

 

Windows 10 update 1909

I am thinking of updating my windows 10 to 1909 version from 1809 as it shows that my current version is near end of service.

But as far as I know a lot of people had the issue of update getting stuck at 48% while rebooting. And I tried to install 2004 version and got stuck at 48%.

So I was recommended to install 1909 version first instead of jumping directly 2004 version. So I just wanted to know how can I avoid getting stuck at 48% and other errors.
