That's what this does...
Try changing the URL MS uses for Event Help. Try this:

I tried Event ID 131 at random after running that reg file and got a Google search for "Event ID 131 Microsoft-Windows-DeviceSetupManager Microsoft® Windows® Operating System" instead of a missing TechNet page anyway *Smile

Yes, no ETA..... and this is suppose to be a workaround? Individually close ALL apps and processes? Disconnect from the internet? Turn the router off? Are they nuts?

Microsoft is currently investigating this issue.

To work around this issue, exit all open applications and connections before you log off or restart the system.

under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc, &
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OneSyncSvc and "some random number"
gets rid of the 7031 Event logging. *Huh

This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool

Just follow the same procedure as described in this thread but instead of editing the permissions for "RunTimeBroker" you now edit these for "Immersive Shell".

Do not forget to return ownership in the registry to "Trusted Installer"

I know, last time I tried it I screwed the windows, couldn't open anything couldn't right click on random times, and I didn't have the options to revert back to TrustedInstaller after I changed to administrators. I had over 3000 non stop errors every sec about this and windows was slow like 200 mhz , the only fix was System Restore which restored everything from the registry to the edit I did it ODBC . I would be happy if someone could make the script or edit it like lx07 who did it

All that needs to be done is replace the two registry keys with the ones from the event log error you experience like this:

Copy the code into Powershell Admin and let it finish.
You then run dcomcnfg and edit the security properties of "Immersive Shell"

I have System , Administrators , INTERACTIVE

All have Allow to Local Launch ,Remote Launch, Local Activation , Remote Activation . What should I add ? Local Service only ?
