Windows 10: windows 10 - everything is weirdly big

i used windows 10 for a while on pc and today decided to install it also on laptop but it behaves weirdly here. i donwloaded opera browser and thr tabs were huge and the look was weird, i opened paint and it was blurry (the fonts). what's the problem? please help!

there is no current support for larger devices on windows phone - all apps are designed to look the same on every screen size. introducing a variant is complex and a significant change on the OS paradigm and on how the apps are built.

I'm sure that future updates will make things nicer - but there is nothing you can do right now.

Because the screen is large. What exactly were you expecting?

 

Hi, do you actually have a graphics driver installed? I remember when I first installed Win 10, many moons ago, it was 2-3 days before the graphics driver was installed. Wouldn't expect that, really.

Check in Device Manager.

 

Could be a generic W10 video driver causing problems, can you change settings in settings > system > display? Is the problem only in Opera? Does the same thing happen in IE and Edge? You might have to install a driver from your computers manufacturer to get back the way it was, or it could be something within Opera that can be changed.
