Windows 10 Explorer not showing Harddisks in Sidebar

    Hi!
I just installed Windows 10 fresh and noticed that two of my Harddisks are not showing at the left menu in the Explorer.
I have 3 Harddisks and only Harddisk D: ist showing. When i connect a USB-HDD it shows up instantly.
Here is a Screenshow of what i mean:

  3. Remove unwanted folder shortcut from Windows Explorer (Win 10)

Adobe CC installs a shortcut in the left-hand navigation sidebar of Windows Explorer. The shortcut is for the "Creative Cloud Files" folder. I do not use this and do not want it cluttering up my navigation in Windows Explorer. There is no option to delete
it when I right-click. Adobe provides no solutions or options to disable it. How does a Windows 10 user delete a shortcut installed by an application without their permission in the Windows Explorer navigation sidebar? Thank you.

    I updated my system specs.
I see all disks when i run diskmgmt but it shows my 3rd harddisk as ntfs file system.
I didnt use a partition manager and so i formatted the western digital 3tb in gpt so that i can use the 3tb without partitioning. But i formatted the western digital in windows 7 already. could that be a reason? but then it should show harddisk C because its the same as harddisk D.
i dont know what you mean with bootdisk. i used the mediacreation tool from microsoft to create a windows iso image and burned that on a dvd and then installed it. i only have windows 10 on this pc and no other systems.

another thing is that i have 2 bluray drives. one is a samsung usb and the other an internal sata pioneer drive. in diskmgmt it shows only the usb drive and the internal is only shown when i put a disc inside. something seems a bit messed up here.

    @ phorris:
Do you have 'Dieser PC' expanded?

    Removable drives show up twice:

It does show the harddisks when i click on expand. But i was asking why it only shows harddisk D in the default view when it is not expanded.

    Hi,
    1. Do have a look at
Drives in Navigation Pane - Add or Remove in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
since that does appear potentially relevant, looking at your screenshot.
    2. My reference to the boot disk 'partition manager boot disk' is to the boot disk (or device) most partition managers and some data recovery programs allow you to create. So you can boot up and you are using the partition manager on Win PE and no Windows restrictions apply 'cos Windows isn't running.

Probably one of the 'bucket load' of bugs W10 is having right now.
Only removable drives are supposed to show up in the 'Extra/Unexpanded' view, however, with a clean install, all drives are being treated as 'removable' except C: Drive and empty drives.

I dont want to run a reg file from someone. It might work but it should work by default.
I dont run a boot disk. Just the normal windows is booted.
And what about the GPT formatting? Does it show that for someone in the diskmgmt or also just ntfs?

I would think it should, but, that's bugs for ya!

This is what my last upgrade install revealed:

A clean install resembles my previous post.

BTW, you don't have to run the reg file, just navigate to the reg location and delete the key yourself, (export it first just to be safe)

... my USB HDD shows twice in the navigation pane, once listed as if it were one of my installed drive partitions, then once more.
i.e. if I have 'This PC' not expanded, then it only shows once.

    That's DelegateFolders/RemovableDrives.
    Delete the aforementioned key.

In the current Windows 10 i would not change anything at the reg at all. It would probably just cause additional problems worse than that. I start to understand why microsoft gives this away for free.
