    Windows 10 fake freeze


    Sorry for the weird message but I don’t know what the issue is. Anyway for back story I recently got some new parts for my computer, a Ryzen 5800x coming from intel I wanted my machine to be fresh so I also created a fresh install of windows on a brand new m.2. Anyway the issue at hand is whenever I leave my computer idle for a few hours it’ll just pseudo freeze, the clocks will stop at whatever time my computer froze at and then continue going later? For example I got off my computer at 7 pm and later got back on at 1 pm but the clock on windows showed 9 pm. I can also move my mouse for a short period of time but usually clicking on apps will hard freeze and I’ll have to reboot.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
