Windows 10: windows 10 fall update duplicate screen problem

after i updated to the fall update, once i connect the hdmi cable to my benq projector, i click on duplicate screen on my laptop but the projector will give me a message "out of range". if i chose the second screen only option or the extended screen option it works fine and it projects the screen correctly. why is it only that the duplicate screen option is not working after the update? i tried updating the display driver but it was the latest. i have an hp pavillion x360 with no dedicated graphics card.

Projector issue caused by update

After the fall creator's update, i have an error when making a video full screen while connected to a projector. When the video is still windowed, the screen is duplicated properly and runs well. As soon as I make the video full screen, it stops duplicating
the screen and displays exclusively on the projector. Additionally, the video begins to jump and get laggy, and on my laptop screen I can see the mouse flashing on and off. How can I fix this?

Getting protections against screenshots Kaspersky Total Security for Windows 10 Home

since I updated to windows 10 fall update Kaspersky total security informs me that " the driver for the protection screen shot is disabled " how can I resolve this problem

 

Have you tried changing the resolution for the second screen to what the projector is set for its Native REsolution.

 

i just have the laptop screen set at full res. i tried to make it lower but the projector shows the same "hdmi detected... out of range" message

 

Out of range means that it is set higher than the Projector can do.

 

then how come if i choose the "second screen only " option it works just fine with the same settings.

 

Something is either messed up on the projector, a long HDMI run that may need a amplifier or the graphics port is causing it to go out of range. Not really hard to fix, since it is something that only you have access to in person, none of us have any access to.

Just try a different cable, by hooking up to the projector and the computer close to each other, is how it is done. There are HDMI loopback testers or use a Raspberry Pi to do the test.
