Discus and support Windows 10 Fax and Scan uninstalled and now can't find out how to re-install it in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I had to do a complete reset on my PC and reinstall Windows 10 64 bit.     Windows 10 Fax and Scan uninstalled and now can't find out how to re-install it


    I had to do a complete reset on my PC and reinstall Windows 10 64 bit. I am able to print HP Officejet Pro 8600, but I was unable to use Windows Fax and Scan. It indicated that it could not find my scanner. I followed instructions I found in the Community and went to Turn Windows Features On and Off and Windows F & S was not shown as an option. I uninstalled my printer and reinstalled it and updated the printer software and drivers from the HP website. I ran the printer's troubleshooter software from HP and everything check out okay and it printed the test page.As a last resort, I unin

    To stop the download, uninstall the KB3035583 update (under "Control Panel > Windows Update > Installed Updates").


    To get rid of the C:\$Windows.~BT folder:
    • Right-click on your C: drive.
    • Select "Properties".
    • Click on [ Disk Cleanup ]
    • After the initial scan: If you have a [ Clean up system files ] button, click it and wait for the second scan to finish.
    • Scroll down the list and look for "Temporary Windows installation files" (its size should be in the gigabytes range); check the box.
    • Click on [ OK ] to start the clean-up.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    ^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.
