    Windows 10 feature history RDP shut down and restart options


    I need to know what versions of Windows 10 had the option to restart and shut down when remoting to a computer using RDP. It appears that the options were present right after the anniversary update and I cannot find via web search how long it was present for. It now appears that on my current version of windows the options have disappeared. I am aware of the various workarounds and can successfully reboot. I am trying to find documentation to prove that this change has occurred.Thank you,Andrew

    Please add new RDP option "Hide Shut Down"

    This is a plea to the Microsoft RDP Tech Team to please add the following new option to RDP (under the Experience tab or where ever):

    "Hide Shut down" checkbox (default=checked)

    This will, when a user is in an RDP session, remove the Shut down option similar to if they open regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Start\HideShutDown and change the value to 1.

    As you can imagine, this would be a most useful feature that many users for years have asked for!

    How to remove all entries in windows 10 Optional Feature History

    Hello,

    To help you with your concern, we suggest that you try to follow the steps provided below:

    • Open Settings > System, and select Apps & features from the left side.
    • Click on the Manage optional features link.
    • To remove an app or a feature, select the feature and click on the Uninstall button.

    Random shut down and restart??

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Windows 10 feature history RDP shut down and restart options :confused:*Mad Windows 10 feature history RDP shut down and restart options :mad:

    One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
