Windows 10: Windows 10 Feature Update 20H2 issue

I have tried several times to install the windows 10 feature 20H2 update currently version 1909. Every time it appears to install successfully. After restarting the computer, the log in screen appears and I enter my password. My desktop opens and windows boots. The problem is that my keyboard and mouse do not operate. I am unable to input anything. I eventually have to open in recovery mode and uninstall the update. Then everything works. I replaced my keyboard and mouse but the same happens. I would like to keep my computer updated but so far have had no success. Please help!Mike

Update History is not showing v.20H2

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

keep in mind, as of recently, the FCU is installed on 5% of devices roughly.....

 

Windows 10 20H2 Upgrade

I doubt it is a glitch. I suspect it was designed that way.
