Windows 10: Windows 10 feature update fails at 60%, missing one or more components

I have been trying to update Windows 10 for months and keeps failing at 60%. It keeps saying "missing one or more components, restart and try updating again". I have tried windows update troubleshooter, command prompt scfnow scans, check health, restore health, DISM.exe process of stopping Bits, windows update, and re-starting and still won't update. Can I just un-install this Windows 10 it has never seemed to have all components and buy a new one and install it?

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

Thanks for your assistance. However, this didn't work and I am still unable to install the new Windows10 updates. The troubleshooter reported that it solved some issues but it also said:

"Windows Update Components Must Be Repaired" with a red cross and 'Not Fixed'.

What else do you suggest? I really want to update Windows10. What else can you recommend please?
