    Windows 10 Feature update to 2004 Conexant driver Issue


    It's been close to 5 months Win 10 version 2004 has been made available to the end-users.

    Initially, there's been a lot of "Bugs and Issues" with the initial release. Most of them have been resolved by various updates.But there's one particular issue regarding Conexant Drivers that I believe is barring a lot of users to upgrade to the newest version 2004.

    I myself is a victim of such a situation. I myself have been seeing the same old message "The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. Once it’s ready for your device, you’ll see the update available on this page."

    I don't know what is Microsoft doing regarding this issue lately. but it has been quite a while and the issue hasn't been fixed yet. A lot of other issues have been resolved but this particular issue hasn't been fixed.

    I think Microsoft has been neglecting this issue for far too long, and I feel abandoned as an end-use.


    Is there any chance that the ones like me can upgrade to "Version 2004" before the Win 10 October 2020 release?

    Conexant driver update for Conexant SmartAudio HD

    Hello,

    To figure out if the update fails or not, we can simply check and compare the driver version after the update. Follow the steps below for more information:

    • Search for Device Manager via Cortana.
    • Look for Conexant from the list of devices (should be under Sound, video and game controllers)
    • Right click and select properties
    • Check the driver version from the Driver tab.
    Try to perform the updates and see if the version changes. Let us know the outcome and we'll be glad to provide further assistance.

    Are Conexant/Synaptics Audio driver issues fixed yet?

    Is the Conexant and Synaptics Audio compatibility issue with Windows 10 2004 fixed yet? I have a Lenovo Flex 14IWL with the Synaptics Audio driver, I'm wondering if it's safe to install Windows 10 2004. Anyone know if it's fixed?

    Acceptable drivers for Conexant HD Audio for upgrade to Windows 10 version 2004

    I have searched everywhere for a higher version for Conexant HD Audio drivers that will work with upgrade to Windows 10 version 2004 but cannot find any. Will Windows resolve so can use Conexant drivers available, is laptop trash, is there a way to install
    acceptable other company's drivers ? What can I do ?
